Coal rake dispatch begins from NTPC Talaipalli coal mines to NTPC Lara in Chhattisgarh

NTPC has announced the commencement of coal rake dispatch from NTPC Talaipalli Coal Mines to NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: Maharatna Power PSU NTPC Limited on Tuesday announced the commencement of coal dispatched from NTPC Talaipalli Coal Mines. It dispatched its first coal rake from NTPC Talaipalli Coal Mines to NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.

The MGR Track Length from Talaipalli to Lara is 65 km. According to the company, the commencement of rake loading paves the way forward for Talaipalli Mine to dispatch coal in a smooth and eco-friendly manner to meet the coal requirements of 1,600 MW NTPC Lara.

NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh and Director (Commercial) Chandan Kumar Mondol along with RED (Coal Mining) and RED (WR II & OS) flagged off the first Coal Rake dispatch from NTPC Talaipalli to NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project.
