Visakhapatnam: A team of 38 delegates from 25 countries belonging to the International Centre for Information System and Audit (ICISA) has visited Vizag Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) on Thursday. The team visited RINL as part of the 148th International Training Programme on "Audit of state-owned Enterprises."

"While welcoming the team RINL-VSP's Director (Finance) VV Venugopala Rao explained the know-how incorporated in the plant and the production facilities of the integrated steel plant. He also explained the current scenario of the steel industry in the country," said a press release from RINL-VSP.

RINL's Executive Director (IA&SV) and Cost Control, PS Gupta, and Deputy General Manager (F&A) IA&SV, NVB Rama Sarma, Director (Commercial Audit), Anita S Rama Chandra, Deputy Director, Sai Shankar, Commercial Audit and his team accompanied the team during the visit.

The delegates also visited the Steel Museum, Awards Gallery and major production units in the plant. "The delegates were highly impressed by the greenery, clean and green environment in and around the plant," the release added.
