Dillip Kumar Patel appointed as Director (HR) of NTPC

New Delhi: Dillip Kumar Patel has been appointed as Director (HR) of NTPC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power. The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment on Friday. Prior to this promotion, Patel was serving as General Manager (HR) in the same PSU.

The name of Patel was recommended for the post of Director (HR) of NTPC Limited by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on September 18. He was selected from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the panel. With this promotion, Patel will replace Saptarshi Roy, who is serving as Director from 2016.
