New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NBCC (India) Limited on Wednesday to construct a subway connecting the WTC Nauroji Nagar with the Bhikaji Cama Place Metro station on Pink Line.

The WTC is being developed by NBCC as a commercial project at Nauroji Nagar consisting of 12 towers of G+9 structure having an approximate built-up area of 34 lakhs sq. ft along with a three-level basement parking and other services.

The commercial hub, spread over 25 acres of land, will house corporate offices, retail shops, conference facilities, board rooms, auditorium, food Courts and restaurants etc.

The construction of this new subway will help in providing a more convenient mode of connectivity for Metro passengers visiting this massive facility which will have offices as well as commercial establishments. Pedestrians in the area will also have a safer way to travel to and from the Metro station.

DMRC has built a number of such subways and foot-over bridges to connect its Metro stations with nearby landmarks.
