Dy. C&AG of India Mohan Venkatesh visits NTPC Dadri

During the visit Venkatesh was apprised of new environmental initiatives, also Dy. C&AG showed keen interest in the power plant operation of various systems

Dadri/GB Nagar: Mohan Venkatesh, Dy. Comptroller & Auditor General of India (Dy. C&AG) with his team visited NTPC Dadri on April 25-26, 2019. On arrival, Venkatesh was warmly received by R.S Rathee, RED (DBF/Hydro) and A. K. Das, CGM (Dadri). K. Srikant, Director (Finance), A. K. Gautam, ED (Finance), NTPC Limited and senior NTPC officials graced the occasion.

During the visit Venkatesh with his team was taken to Coal Station Stage-2; Gas Station; Solar Plant, Eco Park (Ash Mound) and HVDC and was apprised about power plant operation and systems, new initiatives and environment initiatives. Dy. C&AG showed a keen interest in the power plant operation of various systems. He witnessed the film on NTPC Dadri and held a discussion during interaction with senior officials on various issues related to the power station and power sector.

As a token of his visit to NTPC Dadri Venkatesh and his team members planted saplings at Eco Park. On this occasion, a cultural program was also organized for the distinguished guests.
