EIL to organise training programme on November 11; registrations open

EIL will conduct a training programme on Nov 11 on the theme, "Innovative Indigenous state-of-the-art Delayed Coker Technology - A Make in India Success Story''

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) is all set to conduct a training programme on November 11 at its Pragyan Kendra on the theme, "Innovative Indigenous state-of-the-art Delayed Coker Technology – A Make in India Success Story." EIL posted about the training programme on its official facebook account and said, "Registrations open for Industry Technical Training programme on 'Innovative Indigenous state-of-the-art Delayed Coker Technology – A Make in India Success Story'." It also furnished various other details related to the registration process.

Highlights of the training programme

The training programme will focus on various aspects including, understanding basic key features of coke drum design and recent developments by EIL on mechanical designs to upgrade operational processes. The training brochure posted by EIL on Facebook also emphasised that the programme will also cover 'familiarising of DCU packages like coke cutting system with respect to evolution of technology, safety aspects, material handling aspects for safe operations and minimising pollution levels.'

"A session has been exclusively designed to cover DCU Fired Heaters, their importance and criticality," said EIL. Also, a talk will be organised which will focus on operational challenges faced in furnaces and their mitigation. EIL also focused on a revamp case study which will cover a DCU furnace efficiency/capacity and troubleshooting. "The case study will enable clients and owners to make informed decisions regarding prevention or handling problems encountered in furnaces," said EIL.

EIL said in its brochure, "We believe that this tailor-made programme is suitably designed for audience like Clients' Operating, Design, ENCON (Energy Conservation team) and Maintenance Personnel."
