New Delhi: The Government has approved the appointment of Dharmendra Kumar Kamra, Regional  Executive Director (NR), AAI as Member, Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) for a period of 5 years.

Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) is a regulatory agency under the Government of India to regulate tariffs and other expenditures & fees for major airports. It is a statutory body constituted under the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act (AERA), 2008.

What does AERA do?

AERA regulates tariffs and fees charged to airports and passengers and monitors the quality of service.
