GRSE’s Captain Jagmohan set to take charge as Director at Goa Shipyard Ltd

New Delhi: Captain Jagmohan is set to take charge as Director (CP,P&BD) at Goa Shipyard Ltd as his name has been recommended by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). Jagmohan is currently serving as General Manager at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE).

Jagmohan has been associated with GRSE since April 4, 2016. The Captain holds an array of academic qualifications including a bachelors' degree in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, a diploma in Naval Construction from the IIT Delhi and a Masters' Degree in Ocean Engineering from the IIT Kharagpur. He has over 26 years of experience and has worked with the Indian Navy as a Captain.

He was selected for the post by a PESB panel from a list of 10 candidates. While four candidates on the list were from within Goa Shipyard Ltd, the rest were from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Mangalore Refineries & Petrochemicals Ltd, Dredging Corporation of India Ltd. Two other candidates who were shortlisted were Naval officers.
