Himanshu Kumar set to be Joint Secretary of UPSC

New Delhi: Himanshu Kumar (ITS) is set to be Joint Secretary (Director level) of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi. According to an order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been selected for appointment as Joint Secretary of the UPSC under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kumar is an Indian Telecommunication Services (ITS) officer of 1998-batch. Prior to this, he was also recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
