New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for the appointment of Hira Ballabh (IRAS) as Director (Finance) of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Ballabh has been appointed on the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or up to the date of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is currently working as Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer in the Northern Railway.

The DFCCIL was registered as a company under the companies act 1956 in 2006.
