IOC appoints Sandeep Kumar Gupta as CFO

Gupta has more than three decades of experience of working in the finance function of Refinery Units, Refinery Headquarters and Corporate Office

New Delhi: Government-owned refiner Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has appointed Sandeep Kumar Gupta as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the public sector undertaking. The step was necessitated upon the completion of the term of Director (Finance) AK Sharma.

"It is further notified that, in pursuance of Section 203 of the Companies Act 2013 and rules notified thereunder, the Board of Indian Oil has appointed Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Executive Director {Corporate Finance) of Indian Oil as CFO of the Company w.e.f. 18th May 2019," the refiner said in a regulatory filing.

Gupta is a Commerce Graduate and Chartered Accountant and has more than three decades of experience of working in the finance function of Refinery Units, Refinery Headquarters and Corporate Office of Indian Oil. He has handled the entire gamut of finance and account activities of the company in various capacities.
