New Delhi: Keshav Rao is set to be appointed to the post of Director (Personnel) at Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd as his name has been recommended by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). Rao is currently serving as General Manager at Indian Telecommunication Service.

He was selected for the post by a PESB panel from a list of nine candidates. While most of the candidates came from coal PSUs like, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd, Western Coalfields Ltd, Coal India Limited, Central Coalfields Ltd, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd and NTPC, there was one from LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. Rao holds a B.Tech degree from IIT-Bombay and a PGP degree in management from IIM-Ahmedabad. He comes with over 20 years of experience in project execution, planning and operations in the telecom industry.
