New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) for the appointment of KPM Swamy to the post of Director (Commercial) of NBCC (India) Limited. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Swamy has been appointed to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he serves as Senior Executive Director in the same organisation.

NBCC is a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Its present areas of operations are categorized into three main segments, i.e. Project Management Consultancy (PMC), including the redevelopment of government properties, engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) and real estate development.
