LIC increases its shareholding in HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd

New Delhi: Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) in a regulatory filing on Thursday stated that it has increased its shareholding from 7.02 percent to 9.05 percent in HDFC Asset Management Company Limited.

As per the filing, the market capitalisation of HDFC Asset Management Co Ltd is Rs 48,532.20 crores. LIC also stated that there is an increase of 2.029 percent in holding during the period from March 30 to December 14.

"Holding increased from 7.024 percent to 9.053 percent, which is an increase of 2.029 percent during the period from March 30 to December 14 at an average cost of Rs 1,954.24," it added.
