MCL celebrates 48th Coal India Day

MCL celebrated the 48th Coal India Foundation Day 2022 on Wednesday with employees and their families participating in the ‘Run for Excellence'

New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited celebrated the 48th Coal India Foundation Day 2022 with employees and their families participating in the 'Run for Excellence' on Wednesday.

The celebrations of Coal India Day began with the unfurling of the Coal India Flag at company headquarters by MCL's Director (Personnel) Keshav Rao in the presence of MCL CVO PK Patel, Director (Finance) AK Behura and former Directors of the company were prominent among senior officers present on the occasion.

As a part of the celebrations, the 16th JG Kumarmangalam Lecture Series was organised, with a motivational speech by an eminent speaker. Collector, Sambalpur was the chief guest for the occasion and spoke about gender parity in the workplace.

Employees have been presented with awards for their annual performance.

Functional directors, trade union representatives and a large number of employees of the company at headquarters and Areas attended the lecture series.
