MCL deploys 4 fogging cannons to clean up air in Rourkela

New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has deployed service four mobile 'Fog Cannons' to maintain the ambient air quality in Rourkela, as the city prepares to host the 15th edition of the prestigious FIH Odisha Hockey World Cup-2023.

Responding to the request of the Odisha State Pollution Control Board, a fleet of four truck-mounted mobile 'Fog Cannons' and two mechanical road sweepers has been deployed till January 29, 2023.

Fog Cannon, also known as mist cannon, is used by MCL to suppress dust and to enhance quality of ambient air in the coalfields.
