Here is the list of new Secretaries appointed by ACC

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following Secretary level appointment in the various Departments and Ministries

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved following Secretary level appointment in the various Departments and Ministries on Monday.

  1. The ACC has approved the appointment of B Anand as Secretary of National Commission for Minorities in the rank of Additional Secretary. Anand is a 1987-batch, Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Tamil Nadu cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Department of Science & Technology. He is also holding the additional charge of Financial Advisor of the Department of Biotechnology and Ministry of Earth Sciences.
  2. Sanjay Kumar Singh has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education and Secretary of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Singh is a 1987-batch, Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is currently working as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
  3. Neelam Shammi Rao has been appointed as Director General (Training) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the rank of Additional Secretary. Rao is a 1992-batch, Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. She has been appointed on the post by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Director in Directorate General of Training. She will also hold the additional charge of the post of Director-General of National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, according to the order from the Department of Personnel Training (DoPT).
  4. VL Kantha Rao has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence Production. He is a 1992-batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh, currently serving in his home cadre.
