Meeting to select next CIC postponed

As Chief Information Commissioner of India RK Mathur retired on November 24, a meeting was scheduled on November 27 to select his successor

New Delhi: As Chief Information Commissioner of India RK Mathur retired on November 24, a meeting was scheduled on November 27 to select his successor. However, sources have said that the meeting was postponed after Leader of the Opposition and Congress stalwart Mallikarjun Khadge objected to the date. A new date for the meeting is yet to be finalised.
