MP Gupta set to be Director in Defence Ministry

New Delhi: Mahendra Prakash Gupta (ITS) is set to be Director in the Ministry of Defence. He has been selected for the appointment in the Ministry of Defence, an order from the Department of Personnel & Traning (DoPT) said on Tuesday. According to the order, Gupta has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Ministry of Defence, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever earlier.

Gupta is an Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer of 2001-batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Telecommunication (DoT).
