MV Rajasekhar set to be Director (R&D) of BEL

MV Rajasekhar, who is the chief scientist in BEL's Central Research Laboratory, has been recommended for the post of Director (R&D) of BEL

New Delhi: MV Rajasekhar is set to be Director (Research and Development) of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. He is currently serving as chief scientist in Central Research Laboratory of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

Rajsekhar has been recommended for the post of Director (R&D) of BEL from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. A total of six candidates including Sekhar, who were on the list were from BEL and two candidates from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL).

MV Rajasekhar has been recommended for the post of Director (R&D) of BEL. He is currently serving as Chief Scientist in Central Research Laboratory of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a state-owned aerospace and defence company with about nine factories and several regional offices in India. The organisation is owned by the government and primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. It has been granted Navratna status by the government.
