New Delhi: The team NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) celebrated its 9th annual day zealously and with full fervour and witnessed whole-hearted participation. NCRTC Chairman & Secretary Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) Manoj Joshi graced the occasion as the 'Guest of Honour.' Union Minister for MoHUA Hardeep Singh Puri also sent his best wishes to the team NCRTC through a video message.

A photo exhibition on the theme of 'Delhi-Meerut RRTS – A journey of Building Nation' was showcased on the occasion depicting the journey and contribution of RRTS in nation building. A film on the progress made by NCRTC during the last year was shown to the guests. Acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of the employees, the employees were also presented with Annual Awards. A theatrical performance of 'Abhigyan Shakuntalam' by the National School of Drama Repertory Company ended the evening on a high note.

The NCRTC is a joint partnership institution between the Central Government and the participating states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and the NCT of Delhi. It was formally incorporated on August 21, 2013, as a company under the Company Act, 1956.
