NFL achieves highest-ever fertilizer sale of 49.71 lakh MT

During the period from April 1, 2022 till December December 31, 2022, National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has achieved highest-ever fertilizer sale of 49.71 lakh MT

New Delhi: Miniratna Fertilizer PSU National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has registered highest-ever Fertilizer sale during the three quarters of the current Financial Year (FY 2022-23). According to an official statement of the company, NFL's April – December 2022 fertilizer sale has been recorded at 49.71 lakh MT, which is 27 percent higher than the corresponding period of the last year (CPLY) and the highest-ever during the period.

Urea, DAP, Complex Fertilizers along with products like City Compost, SSP, PDM, Bio-fertilizers, Micronutrients and Water Soluble Fertilizers added to the volume. Sale of Industrial Products and Agro Chemicals also recorded healthy growth.

NFL operates five gas-based Ammonia-Urea plants in India with a production capacity of 36 lakh MT of Urea beside one 13 Lakh MT JV plant of RFCL in Telangana. NFL markets around 60 Lakh MT of total fertilizers through its pan India marketing network and commands a market share of 19.5 percent of urea in the country. Other than fertilizers, NFL also produces and markets various Agri inputs including Seeds, Agro Chemicals and a number of Industrial Products.
