NHPC organises free medical camp in Faridabad

At least 555 people from the surrounding areas availed the benefits of free medical camp of NHPC

Faridabad: NHPC Limited, state-owned hydropower company, organised a free medical camp at village Khedi Kalan in Faridabad in association with BK Civil Hospital and Fortis Escorts Hospital on January 31. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Kamla Fartyal, Chief General Manager (Medical Services). The other attendees included Dr Harjinder Singh, Senior Medical Officer, CHC, Khedi Kalan and Dr Sunny, Medical Officer, CHC, Khedi Kalan. Dr Rakesh Ranjan, Dr Sushma Trivedi from NHPC and specialist doctors from Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad.

At least 555 people from the surrounding areas availed the benefits of free medical facility. During the camp, free medical consultation was given by specialist doctors in cancer, cardiology, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, internal medicine and eye care. A Tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis was also conducted for local people. ECG, sputum test, blood sugar, haemoglobin and other necessary tests and medicines were provided free of cost.
