NMDC fixes price of lump ores & fines

Costing of lump ores has been estimated at Rs 4,300 per tonne while fines will cost Rs 3,410 per tonne, said NMDC in a regulatory filing on Monday

New Delhi: State-owned NMDC said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it has fixed prices of lump ores and fines, with effect from January 1, 2023. The filing also stated the prices fixated by the company. While stating the prices, it said, "lump ore containing 65.5 percent iron of length six to 40 mm will cost Rs 4,300 per tonne."

It also said that "fines containing 64 percent iron content and are around one mm in length will cost Rs 3,410 per tonne."

The filing also said that the "prices exclude royalty, DMF, NMET, Cess, Forest Permit Fee and other taxes."
