New Delhi: The public sector head hunter has selected NMDC Limited's Pankaj Kumar Sharma as the next Director (Production) of NALCO, said an official notification. Interviews for the position were held on Tuesday. And a total of five candidates were in the fray.

Sharma was the only candidate on the list from NMDC. There was one candidate from NALCO, two were from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) and another one from Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMCL).

Sharma is currently working as Chief General Manager (CGM) at NMDC.
