NTPC pays Govt a final dividend of Rs 3,054.45 crore for FY’21

New Delhi: Energy Maharatna NTPC Limited on Friday has paid a final dividend of Rs 3,054.45 crore for the financial year 2020-21, being 31.5 percent of the paid-up equity share capital of the company.

The RTGS advice for the transfer of Rs 1,560.93 crore, being the share of the government in the final dividend, was presented to Union Minister of Power and Ministry of New & Renewable Energy RK Singh, by NTPC Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Gurdeep Singh in the presence of Ministry of Power's Secretary Alok Kumar (IAS). Additional Secretary (Power) Vivek Kumar Dewangan and Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor of the Ministry of Power Ashish Upadhyaya along with other officials of power ministry and NTPC were also present at the occasion.

NTPC Limited's Director (Finance) AK Gautam, Director (Human Resources) Dillip Kumar Patel, Director (Operations) Ramesh Babu V and Director (Commercial) Chandan Kumar Mondol were present on behalf of NTPC.

This is the 28th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividends.
