New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Mines for appointment of Pankaj Kumar Sharma as Director (Production) in National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a PSU under the Ministry of Mines.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sharma has been appointed to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after February 1, 2023, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earlier. Presently, Sharma is currently working as Chief General Manager at NMDC Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel.

Sharma was recommended for the post of Director (Production) of NALCO by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on September 13, 2022.
