Paresh R Ranpara set to be next Director (HR) of Grid-India

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Paresh R Ranpara for the post of Director (HR) of Grid-India

New Delhi: Paresh R Ranpara is set to be the next Director (Human Resources) of Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India), previously known as POSOCO. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on February 9. Currently, he is serving as General Manager (Human Resources) of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).

Ranpara has been recommended for the post of Director (HR) of Grid-India, from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on February 9. Out of five candidates, two candidates were from Grid-India and one each from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL), MECON Limited and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).

As Director (Human Resources) of Grid-India, Ranpara will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control, training, HRD etc. in the organisation.
