Railways Ministry inching closer towards 100% electrification with Parli Vaijnath project

Narendra Modi congratulated the Railways Ministry on 100% electrification of the Parli Vaijnath-Vikarabad Project, stretching 268 kilometres

New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways informed the public in a tweet that it is inching faster towards meeting the target of 100 percent electrification with the electrification of the final stretch of Latur Road-Parli Vaijnath. The entire route of 268 kilometres is now electrified, said the tweet. This project will benefit three states including, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra, the tweet said.

In a reply to this tweet, PM Modi said, "More power to this Mission and congratulations to the people from Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana who will benefit from this particular stretch."

Apart from this, the tweet garnered a lot of appreciation from other ministers and citizens. Devendra Fadnavis congratulated the Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw. Former CM of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Kumar Rawat also tweeted in response.
