New Delhi: The Central Government on Thursday approved the appointment of Rajiv Kumar for the post of Director (Finance) of BSNL Limited, a PSU under the Department of Telecommunications. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Kumar on Thursday. He has been appointed to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (GM) in the same organisation.

Rajiv was recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of BSNL Limited by the PESB panel on September 27, 2022. He was recommended for the post from a list of three candidates who were interviewed for the post.
