Rakesh Kumar Arora assumes interim charge of Director (Finance) at NBCC

Agarwal will be holding the post until BS Sokhey gets a clearance for assuming full-time charge of the position, which is likely to take two-three months

New Delhi: Rakesh Kumar Arora has assumed the additional charge of Director (Finance) at NBCC (I) Ltd, in addition to his current assignment of Director (Finance) at Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), on June 21. Arora will be holding the post until BS Sokhey gets clearance for assuming full-time charge of the position, which is likely to take two-three months, sources said. Sokhey's name was recommended for the position by the PESB in May.

Arora had earlier also held the additional charge of Director (Finance) in NBCC from February 1, 2018 to March 12, 2018. He has over 32 years of experience in the finance discipline, including corporate accounts, investor relations, credit appraisal of power projects relating to the generation, transmission and distribution, corporate social responsibility and corporate planning. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Hons) from Delhi University.

Arora is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Arora has been holding the post of Director (Finance) and CFO at HUDCO since October 1, 2015. Prior to that, he was working with Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, a CPSE, as its Executive Director (Finance).
