RINL opens retail outlet for small customers

Visakhapatnam: Sales of Vizag Steel long products to retail customers started at RINL's retail outlet at Pedagantyada. RINL-VSP's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) PK Rath inaugurated the sales operations at its new constructed retail outlet building.

RINL's rural dealer M/s Narendra Agencies, Chirala made the first purchase while CMD PK Rath issued the first sales letter to mark the occasion.

The retail outlet was constructed at the cost of Rs 4.36 crore in an area of five (5) acres with a storage capacity of 16,000 metric tonnes of steel and also has a 100 MT weighbridge. The retail outlet aimed to strengthen the marketing network and facilitates delivery of RINL-VSP products to all types of customers.

RINL's Director (Personnel) KC Das, Director (Finance) VV Venugopal Rao, Director (Commercial) DK Mohanty, Director (Projects) KK Ghosh, Director (Operations) AK Saxena and senior officials, union leaders have participated.

Retail outlet facilitates delivery of materials to low volume individual and small buyers to order less and multiple products in one vehicle in customized length/ready to use at the site, finished products like cuts, bends and stirrups etc.

RINL retail outlet is an additional distribution channel to sustain sales in alternate market segments and facilitate the delivery of material at customers doorsteps.
