New Delhi: Saurav Dutta is set to be the next Director (Finance), Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited. A PESB panel on Wednesday recommended the name Saurav Dutta for the post of Director (Finance), Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited. He is currently working as the Vice President of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited only.

A total of six candidates appeared for the interview organised by the headhunter body of the public sector. Two of the candidates, including Dutta, were from Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited. Two candidates were from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and one each was from Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) and Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL).

A qualified CA and CS with 25 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, Dutta has been associated with Balmer Lawrie & Co for more than the last 25 years. He has also worked with Allied Resins & Chemicals Limited as EA to Vice President Finance & Company Secretary between Jan'94 to Apr'97 for 3 years and 4 months.

His experience encompasses Accounts, Finance, Treasury, Budgetary Planning & Controlling, Financial Reporting, Costing, Internal Audit, Indirect Taxes, & Corporate Governance.
