SC Mudgerikar takes over as CMD of RCF

New Delhi: SC Mudgerikar has taken over as CMD of RCF (Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited) on October 1. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as Director (Marketing & Corporate Planning) of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) since February 2016. His name had been recommended for the post of CMD, RCF by a PESB panel on April 10.

Mudgerikar is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 1990 batch and has 28 years of rich experience in logistics, support system and supply chain management. He has worked in the Indian Railways in various capacities as an IRTS officer. He has also served the Director on the boards of CONCOR Air Limited, National Multi Commodity Exchange, IFFCO-CRWC JV, Maharashtra SWC & West Bengal SWC.  He has also worked as Chief Commercial Manager (FS), CPRO, Senior divisional Commercial Manager in the Indian Railways & Chief General Manager of CONCOR.

Mudgerikar is a post-graduate engineer from College of Engineering, Pune, Maharastra. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore.

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF) is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. RCF is the fourth-largest producer of fertilizers in India after Coromandel International, National Fertilizer Limited, Chambal and Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals (GSFC). It has two manufacturing units, one at Trombay, in Mumbai– which has completed 50 excellent years in the fertilizers and chemicals domain – and the other at Thal in the Raigad district of Maharashtra.
