SCOPE’s 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held in hybrid mode was attended by CMDs, Directors and Senior officials of PSEs

New Delhi: Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), an apex body of Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) hosted its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was addressed by SCOPE's Chairperson and Chairman of SAIL Soma Mondal; SCOPE's DG Atul Sobti and Vice-Chairman of SCOPE & CMD, IREDA Pradip Kumar Das.

The meeting which was held in hybrid mode was attended by CMDs, Directors and Senior officials of PSEs.

The AGM highlighted SCOPE's endeavors, newer pathways and concerted efforts made by SCOPE towards Policy Advocacy which included interactions & suggestions on various matters with policymakers. The research and collaborations with national and international bodies and capacity building through various workshops and seminars. During the AGM, focus was also drawn upon SCOPE's association with Government Departments in organizing nationwide events earmarking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, while providing data information on pertinent areas like women, skilling, apprenticeship etc.

The AGM also reflected SCOPE's commitment to benchmark PSEs at global level by participating in international forums like the International Labour Organization; OECD; United Nations; International Organisation of Employers etc. The work of SCOPE in pertinent areas of Climate Change, Leadership Development, Skilling, Digital Transformation etc. were also showcased.

The AGM not only encapsulated activities undertaken by SCOPE, but also the future outlook of SCOPE, stepping into its 50th Year, in 2023.
