Sri Lankan delegation visits NTPC Dadri

New Delhi: Delegates from Sri Lanka visited NTPC Dadri on Friday for plant familiarisation. During the visit the Sri Lankan delegates —BMS Batagoda, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Sri Lanka, RS Jayawardena, Chairman, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), PLG Kariyawasam and MN Perera — watched a film on NTPC Dadri. AK Gupta, Director (Commercial) NTPC, Rajnish Bhagat, Executive Director (Business Development), AK Das, Chief General Manager (Dadri) and Chandan Kumar, Section officer, Ministry of Power (GOI) and senior NTPC officials were also present on the occasion.

During the visit, the Sri Lankan delegation was taken around the control room of Coal Station Stage-2, Gas station control room, solar plant, Eco Park (ash mound) and HVDC (power grid) and was apprised about the power plant operation by senior officials. In order to commemorate their visit, the delegates planted saplings at Eco Park.
