Sridhar Patra is going to be NALCO’s new CMD

New Delhi: Sridhar Patra is set to get elevated as Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) as his name has been recommended by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). He is current serving as Director (Finance) at the organisation.

Prior to this assignment, Patra was with THDC India Ltd as the Director (Finance). He comes with a rich and varied experience of over 30 years covering various Public Sector Undertakings like Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd., Indian Rare Earths Ltd. and Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd.

A graduate in Commerce from Utkal University, Patra is a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He completed his MBA (HRD) from Vidya Sagar University and has contributed as an academician apart from his professional employment in PSUs.

Patra was selected for the position by a PESB panel from a list of four candidates. The other candidates were from SAIL, MECON and NEEPCO.
