The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of new CVOs in three PSUs, NTPC Limited, EIL and NFL

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed new Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in three PSUs: NTPC Limited, Engineers India Limited (EIL) and National Fertilizers Limited (NFL). The ACC has approved their appointments initially for three years, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said in three separate orders.

NTPC Limited

The ACC has appointed Trishaljit Sethi, an Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer of 1990-batch, as CVO of NTPC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power. Her appointment has been approved "for an initial period of three years, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier," said an order from DoPT.

Engineers India Limited (EIL)

Shubha Naresh Bhambhani has been appointed as CVO of Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). Bhambhani is an Indian Trade Service (ITS) officer of 1987-batch. He has been appointed "for an initial period of three years, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier," said the order.

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL)

Lalit Mohan Pandey has been appointed as CVO of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a PSU under the Department of Fertilizers. Pandey is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of 1995-batch. He has been appointed for "an initial period of three years, from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier," the order said.
