New Delhi: PK Gupta is set to be appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of state-run NBCC as his name has been recommended by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) for the post. Gupta is currently serving as Executive Director at RITES Limited.

Gupta will succeed Shiv Das Meena, a former Additional Secretary with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) who was given interim charge of the post after former CMD Anoop Mittal's tenure ended in March this year.

He was selected for the post by a PESB panel from a list of four candidates.
