Union Bank of India changes its RTA; appoints KFin Technologies Ltd

New Delhi: State-owned Union Bank of India stated in a regulatory filing on Saturday that "the bank has appointed KFin Technologies Limited as Registrar to Issue and Share Transfer Agent (RTA) of the bank in place of Datamatics Business Solutions Ltd, the existing RTA."

"The formalities for change of RTA relating to documentation, shifting of electronic connectivity and transition of data are in process," it said.

Additionally, the bank also said, "However, Datamatics Business Solutions Ltd will continue to act as RTA of the Bank till such time the database and electronic connectivity is shifted to KFin Technologies Limited and requisite confirmations are received from NSDL and CDSL in this regard."
