ACC clears appointment of Atul B Patil as Director (Marketing) of NFL

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Atul B Patil for the post of Director (Marketing) of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Atul B Patil as Director (Marketing) of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a PSU under the Ministry of Fertilizers. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Patil has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. July 31, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF).

Earlier, PSU Watch had reported when Patil was selected for the post of Director (Marketing) of NFL by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on October 9, 2021. He was selected for the post from a list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel.

Patil is an alumnus of St. Josephs's Hr. Sec. Convent School, Pathankot. He completed B Sc in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology with first division from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab. He also holds an MBA (Master in Business Administration) in Marketing & Personnel Management from Sivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He has over 26 years of work experience in Marketing and Personnel Management in the Fertilizers Industry.
