Anshul Bhargava assumes charge as Director (HR) of POSOCO

Anshul Bhargava has assumed charge as Director (HR) of Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) on Monday

New Delhi: Anshul Bhargava has assumed charge as Director (HR) of Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) on Monday. Prior to this assignment, he was serving as Chief People Officer & Head HR, Administration in the PNB Housing Finance Limited (PNB Housing). According to an earlier order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Bhargava has been appointed to the post for a period of five years or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earlier. Earlier, Meenakshi Davar was serving as Director (HR) in the organisation.

Profile of Anshul Bhargava

Bhargava has completed his schooling from the Scindia School, Gwalior, and Sacred Heart Convent, Mathura, and higher studies in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta. He is a strong human resource professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. He also has hands-on experience in business planning, operations management, HR consulting, banking, and executive search. He joined the Army in 1987. He started his journey in the corporate world as GM (Head-HR & Administration) with Asset Reconstruction Company of India Limited (ARCIL), in 2008, in Mumbai.

Bhargava is a seasoned human resource professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. He also has hands-on experience in business planning, operations management, HR consulting, banking, and executive search.

New role and responsibilities 

As Director (HR) of POSOCO, Bhargava will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control, training, human resource development etc, in the organisation. Currently, Meenakshi Davar is serving as Director (HR) at POSOCO and she is set to superannuate on January 1, 2021.
