Anupam Misra assumes charge as Director (Marketing) of FACT

New Delhi: Anupam Misra has assumed charge as Director (Marketing) of Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Kochi-based fertilizer PSU, on July 14. Prior to this assignment, he was working as Director (Marketing) of PEC Limited, a CPSU under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. According to an order issued on May 27, Misra has been appointed on the post for a period of five years with effect from July 14, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Misra was recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of FACT Limited by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel in August 2019.

Misra's profile

Misra is a management professional with close to three decades of work experience with PSUs. He specialises in the area of International Trading. He has rich hands-on-experience in Industrial raw materials, Agro-Commodities, Engineering Goods and Projects in multi-commodity and multi-market B2B context. Misra is an IIT graduate. He has done B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT-Kharagpur in 1993.

He started his career as a management trainee with PEC Limited, which was earlier known as (The Project & Equipment Corporation of India Limited). He worked there till 2010, for more than 16 years. From there he moved to STC, which is the mother company of PEC. Misra worked with STC for six years. In 2016, he came back to PEC Ltd as Director (Marketing), where he is looking after International Trading in industrial raw materials, agro-commodities, engineering goods and projects.
