Arup Sinha assumes charge as ED, Regional Services of Indian Oil (Northern Region)

Arup Sinha has taken over as the Executive Director (Regional Services) for Indian Oil, Northern Region which comprises the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, UT of J&K, Ladakh and Chandigarh

New Delhi: Arup Sinha has taken over as the Executive Director (Regional Services) for Indian Oil, Northern Region which comprises the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, UT of J&K, Ladakh and Chandigarh. Prior to his current role, he was the head of Regional Services in the Southern Region of Indian Oil.

Sinha would also function as the regional level coordinator for Oil & Gas industry in the seven states and three union territories of northern region besides being the Regional In-Charge for key areas including human resources, finance, product logistics, contracts, information systems, safety and security and quality control.

Profile of Arup Sinha

A postgraduate in management from the University of Lucknow, Sinha has over three decades of in-depth experience in the petroleum sector across functions including operations, aviation, retail and institutional business and human resources.

Sinha has made significant contributions in framing HR policies and digitalization of the performance management systems of Indian Oil. He has also immensely contributed to the apprentice training and skill development programme of Indian Oil through which trade and technical apprentices are upskilled across India enhancing youth employability.

Sinha has to his credit various successful corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects of Indian Oil including MoU with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for conducting the assessment campaign and distribution of accessories to the 'Divyangjans'; National Skill Development Corporation Skilling Projects; Building of toilet blocks in rural schools across the country among others.
