Atul B Patil set to be Director (Marketing) of NFL

Atul B Patil, who is currently serving as General Manager of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF), has been recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of NFL

New Delhi: Atul B Patil is set to be the next Director (Marketing) of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection (PESB) board panel on October 9. He is currently serving as General Manager of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF).

Patil has been selected for the post of Director (Marketing) of NFL from a list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. The other candidates were from NFL and BEML Limited respectively.

Patil is an alumnus of St. Josephs Hr. Sec. Convent School, Pathankot. He completed B Sc in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology with first division from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab. He also holds an MBA (Master in Business Administration) in Marketing & Personnel Management from Sivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He has over 26 years of work experience in Marketing and Personnel Management in the Fertilizers Industry.

As Director (Marketing) of NFL, Patil will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will act as head of the marketing division of the company. He will be primarily responsible for the marketing operations of the company including formulation and implementation of the marketing policies keeping in view the company's profitability and objectives.
