Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav: GRSE commemorates India @75

GRSE celebrated the second phase of India @75 from July 16 to July 21, while the first phase of the celebration was observed from April 23 to April 28

Kolkata: Embracing Indigenisation and encouraging active MSME participation in the government's Aatmanirbhar Abhiyaan, Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE) celebrated the second phase of India @75, Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav from July 16, 2021, to July 21, 2021. The first phase of the celebration was observed by GRSE from April 23, 2021, to April 28, 2021.

The week-long celebration witnessed five focused webinars. On July 16, the first webinar was conducted on "Indigenisation with MSME Special Vendors (SC/ST & Women Entrepreneur), BCC and MSME-DI" which encouraged women leadership roles in the advancement of the MSME sector and contribution towards 'Aatmanirbharata.' On July 19, a "Webinar on Indigenisation, GRSE-Payment System with Vendors, MSME-DI" was organized which emphasized the payment gateways involved in MSME transactions.

July 21 witnessed another webinar on "MSMEs Development with MSME-DI & Vendors" with a focus on expansion and enhanced participation of Indian MSMEs followed by a "Webinar on Quality Assurance with DGQA" and "Webinar on Supply Chain Management at GRSE" on July 22.
