BEML celebrates Doctors’ Day, honours front-line warriors at its Medical Centre

BEML Limited celebrated ‘Doctors' Day’ by honouring doctors and health-care workers in recognition of their yeoman service rendered especially during pandemic times

New Delhi: BEML Limited, a Miniratna Defence PSU, celebrated Doctors' Day by honouring the doctors and healthcare workers in recognition of their yeoman service rendered especially during the pandemic times risking their lives to serve us, whether in main, secondary care settings or in committed COVID care facilities.

BEML's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) MV Rajasekhar CMD honoured the front-line warriors at BEML's Medical Centre in Bangalore Complex along with BEML's Director (Rail & Metro) Amit Banerjee and Executive Director (Rail) P Nagaraj.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajashekar said, "Doctors and health workers are the true heroes. I salute all of them who are relentlessly working to save lives in the time of the pandemic."

It may be recalled that during the pandemic, BEML opened COVID care centres, special clinics for examining the suspected COVID cases and conducted vaccination camps for its employees, families, retired employees, contract workers and others with the support of BEML doctors and health care workers.
