BEML celebrates ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2021’

As part of 'Vigilance Awareness Week' celebrations, BEML Limited organised a special address programme from Justice P Vishwanatha Shetty at its headquarters

New Delhi: Coinciding with 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2021,' Miniratna Defence PSU BEML Limited, organised a special address programme from Justice P Vishwanatha Shetty (Lokayukta of Karnataka) its headquarters Wednesday.

Talking on the theme 'Independent India at 75; self-reliance with integrity' Shetty called upon the gathering to play a vital role in their assigned jobs with quality work and transparency, so as to compete with private sectors.

Earlier BEML Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Amit Banerjee lighted the lamp to mark the beginning of vigilance week and administered the vigilance pledge. BEML's Director (Mining & Constructions) MV Rajasekhar, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) D Venkateshwara Reddy (IRS) and senior executives and employees were present.

Various programmes such as lectures on vigilance, distribution of pamphlets, workshops, vendor meet, essay, slogan writing, painting, drawing and poster making competitions are being organised for the employees and their families.

This will go in long way in improving the awareness about vigilance. Observance of Vigilance Week is one of the tools used by the Central Vigilance Commission to bring together all stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention of & fight against corruption and to raise public awareness.
