BPCL wins 11 awards at PRSI National Awards 2020

New Delhi/Mumbai: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has been recognised with 11 prestigious awards by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) for business excellence and innovative approach in 'PRSI National Awards 2020' announced recently. BPCL bagged 11 awards ranking first, second and third positions in varied categories.

BPCL bagged the first position in four major categories such as 'Best use of Social Media in campaign,' 'Public Relations in Action' 'Award for Innovation in Customer Care during Corona Times' and 'E-Newsletter.' Being at the forefront of driving innovations and business excellence, BPCL proved to be the master of these categories by optimum use of the resources.

Securing the second position in total six categories, BPCL marked another achievement in awards like Innovation in Marketing Strategies in Corona Times, Excellence in Covid 19 – Management in Public Enterprises, Best Communication Campaign (External Publics), Best Communication Campaign (Internal Publics), Best PSU Implementing RTI, and 'House Journal – Hindi for Petroleum Swar.'

The company was also awarded the third position 'Best Employee Communication Program award' for outstanding contribution in achieving communication programs for its employees and valuing its human capital.

BPCL's Chief General Manager (PR & Brand) Abbas Akhtar commented on the announcement, "The Year 2020 has been an extremely difficult time for all of us. The COVID-19 has forced everyone to adapt to a new normal, and the PRSI Awards is testament to the efforts we have put into our branding and marketing."

The jury board comprised of personnel from PRSI and external universe to gauge and applaud the work done by various companies in the 36 categories. PRSI recognises and honours the work done by companies and awards them to motivate and reinforce the culture of achieving excellence and quality to all the stakeholders.
