CMD inaugurates IREDA pavilion in exhibition on ‘Nation Building and CPSEs’

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) is participating in the exhibition on 'Nation Building and CPSEs.' The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) in collaboration with SCOPE, under the aegis of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (AKAM), is organising the mega event at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from June 9 to June 12, 2022. The Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman and the Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday.

IREDA's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Pradip Kumar Das in the presence of IREDA's Director (Technical) Chintan Shah and other officials inaugurated the IREDA pavilion at the exhibition on Thursday.

IREDA is showcasing its various financial products, schemes, and contributions towards the development of the RE sector in the country under the theme of 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'. A total of 75 CPSEs have put up stalls at Mahatma Mandir showcasing their contribution and development of the country during the past seven decades.

CMD and Director (Technical) along with other CMDs, MDs, and Directors of other CPSEs, also participated in the Roundtable of CEOs of CPSEs on the 'Role of CPSEs for a Self-Reliant India'. The discussion centered on increasing professionalism and competitiveness while also focusing on their core competency.
